Spectraflex Tubing R&D Kits
DUKE Extrusion offers Spectraflex thin wall plastic tubing kits for R&D purposes, to quickly and efficiently identify the ideal stiffness and durometer of an optimal tubing design. Each kit contains four (4) tubes, all with the same dimensions but with different durometers (stiffness). Spectraflex kits are ideal for customers who are designing new products that may require a range of stiffnesses along the length of the tubing. Common applications include deflectable catheter devices and other variable stiffness catheters, such as stent delivery systems.
Spectraflex Tubes with Customer Specified Size & Wall Thickness
Our Spectraflex R&D kits include Pebax, nylon, PebaSlix®, and NyloSlix® medical extrusions in 35D, 40D, 55D, 63D, 72D, and 80D durometers. Tubing is available in a variety of wall thicknesses and outer diameters ranging from 2 French/3 wall (0.026” OD) through 12 Fr. (0.156” OD). Tubing is trimmed to 48” ± 1”.
All Spectraflex tubing kits are assembled according to customer specifications. Please use the filters below to specify the French size and nominal wall thickness of the tubes in your R&D kit.
